RRS, a foreign company specializing in the production of construction additives in Brunei, has expanded its operations to Malaysia and Indonesia. Recognizing the potential of Vietnam - a nation undergoing rapid industrialization and boasting a booming construction sector - RRS decided to enter this promising market.
RRS opened a manufacturing facility in Quang Nam province to establish its presence. However, the remote location posed significant challenges, including high transportation costs and lengthy delivery times. Consequently, RRS sought a warehouse in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City that could store inventory and efficiently package orders for customers.

A key requirement for successful business operations in Vietnam is having inventory readily available in convenient locations. EFEX operates two warehouses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with areas of 1,200 m² and 3,200 m², respectively.
RRS chose to store its products at the EFEX warehouse located at 8 Le Quang Dao, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi. Here, the waterproof additive products are stored and preserved according to RRS’s specifications and Vietnamese storage standards.
Specifically, the additives are shipped directly from the manufacturing facility to EFEX’s Le Quang Dao warehouse. EFEX staff handle the receiving process, verifying documentation, sorting, and organizing the products using state-of-the-art equipment.
RRS’s products are stored under optimal temperature conditions, complying with fire safety regulations and monitored by a 24/7 surveillance system, ensuring absolute safety for the inventory.
Furthermore, EFEX employs the IChibaOne WMS—Vietnam’s most advanced warehouse management software—to manage RRS’s inventory. All product data is continuously updated in the system, facilitating easy tracking and management for both parties.
In Vietnam, RRS sells its products through multiple channels, including Shopee, Lazada, its own website, and social media. When an order is placed, the information is transmitted to the WMS. EFEX staff receive the order details and pick items based on either FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expired First Out) strategies.
RRS can rest easy as EFEX professionals label and package the orders before dispatching them to customers. EFEX also offers enhanced packaging services, including product photography, protective packaging, and insurance upon RRS’s request.
With the warehouse management software, inventory data from RRS’s sales channels is synchronized in real-time. EFEX also provides regular reports and inventory alerts, allowing RRS to adjust its procurement strategy proactively.
EFEX provides RRS with the Commerce Layer multi-channel management software at no extra cost while utilizing EFEX’s warehousing and fulfillment services in Vietnam. This software enables RRS to centrally manage all product data, inventory information, and order statuses from various sales channels on a single dashboard.
RRS no longer needs cumbersome Excel spreadsheets or constant logins to various sales platforms, as inventory data is aggregated almost instantly. RRS can easily track order statuses in real-time and maintain complete control over the order journey from all sales channels.
RRS benefits from EFEX’s connections with prominent local shipping companies in Vietnam, such as GHN, GHTK, Viettel Post, and Ninja Van. Customers can select shipping providers based on their budget or delivery time preferences.
Once the orders are ready, EFEX hands them over directly to the shipping companies for delivery to customers throughout Vietnam. EFEX also manages cash on delivery and returns for RRS.
Additionally, EFEX allows customers to pick up their orders directly from the warehouse if they prefer to save on shipping costs.
Six months of utilizing EFEX’s Fulfillment services have translated into significant business success for RRS in Vietnam.
